We have found that hot intake air temps have significantly removed power from the 900 Ace engine. The stock intercooler is way too small causing high intake air temps under full throttle very quickly. This is why we created the Hurricane Extreme Cool Intercooler to maximise the fine surface  area both in the stock head loovers as well as facing straight into the air velocity during lengthy high speed runs. The Hurricane Extreme Cool Intercooler is a direct fit using stock mounts. There is no other modifications needed to install it.
